We’ve Been Named in Sarasota’s Top Restaurants of 2017! We are so pleased to announce we have been named in Sarasota Magazine’s Top Restaurants of 2017. This isn’t the first time Sarasota Magazine has sung our praises– with writer Marsha Fottler calling us the “restaurant we’ve been waiting for.” It is always an honor to be recognized and we cannot thank the magazine more for this amazing honor. Read what they had to say below.

The staff share: “Lila could make you a vegetarian, but that’s not the intent of chef/owners Ryan Boeve and Arthur Lopes. The veteran restaurateurs (they also own Pomona) conjure vegetable dishes fanciful and layered with lush flavors. Get familiar with goji berries, farro, beetroot, or even bee-pollen basil kombucha. The kohlrabi slaw is a big hit, as is the quinoa-sweet potato burger. And the ice-cube-size portion of pork belly is rich and seductive beyond telling. Good duck confit, too. The airy room has a rustic vibe offset by a crystal chandelier and a stylish tile bar. Lila is fun, smart and surprising. Nobody says eat your vegetables; you just want to.
